Chinese tires maybe?

Or how about improper inflation, excessive wear, road debris, just to name a few.

That spike bar in a residential area, WTF where they thinking? That could have ended much worse than it did.

Yes, could easily be road debris. On the same 401 about a week ago someone lost a fackin aluminum toolbox. It was 2 feet into the right lane. I reported it to Waze users but wonder if someone hit it at 100kph which would be a major PITA.

Not sure about interesting, but someone in my building drove home in a brand new white Passat, looks to be the Wolfsburg edition. I think that's the only package available now.

The parking lot looks more complete now.  ;D
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Previous generation Suzuki Jimny with diplomatic plates.  Similar to this one, including the colour.

It was the closest i came to hitting deer today.  Driving my truck down the highway i saw two deer on the other side of the highway start to bolt across. I knew right away our trajectories would converge so I immediately jumped on the brakes with full force.  With a slight correction of the wheel i managed to avoid nailing the lead deer.  The second one actually ran into the rear of my truck somewhere and barely slowed him down.  He just kept running.  If that had been at night i might have creamed both of them.  Also glad the transport truck following me was at a good distance behind.  :o I was actually quite proud of myself for avoiding that one!   ;D

Cruising the 401 this am from Brockville to Montreal, a Purolator truck towing a GMC pickup.

I guess they do oversized packages.

I think it was a brand new one being delivered, and the guy was towing his personal vehicle for the return trip.

Just saw three huge cab-over style army trucks being flatbedded into the area.  They were multi-wheeled units with a flat style bed with some type of cradle in the middle.  Looked like a big dumpster truck without the dumpster.  Never seen them before but I'm assume they are here for some type of flood relief, or mitigation.   :-\  Yesterday I saw lots of LAVs and troop transport trucks roaming around the area.

Looks really similar but I didn't see any boom.  The boom could have been on the bed though for shipping.  I didn't notice any side rails on the bed portion either.

There are at least three variants. It could have been one of those.

It's a badged as a Mack here, but it's really a Renault Kerax.

Cool - since it’s a Renault, it’s a Volvo.  Volvo Trucks took full control of Renault Trucks in 2012.

Coming back from Wolfville yesterday, I saw a sight that made me think of our Arthur Dent:  A Ford Anglia on a trailer.

Nice. I'd dig it. Most of those have been turned into hot rods or dragsters.

Seen while not at work.  Costco parking lot, black Pasat, nice wheels...waxed with a box of Imperial margarine.  Wife even said, jeez, nothing like when you do it.
