Love the FD RX7!!

The other day on the way home from work, saw a yellow Alfa 4C.  That thing looked awesome!

There is currently a black VW Phaeton with Ontario plates parked in my works parking lot.  Not sure whose it is but that vehicle still looks good today.  It's too bad they are so expensive to keep running right.  I think this is the first one I've seen in about 8 years.

Definitely been a while since I've seen one locally.

Looking at the Halifax dealer's inventory:
- 4 of 12 F-PACEs are the 20d
- 12 of 13 XEs are the 20d
- 1 of 1 XFs are the 20d

Neighbour has a base model XE diesel. He's an accountant  ;)

The XF I reviewed last year was a 20d. Poor soundtrack, but handled its task with grace.

there are a couple at the local dealer, sat in one and saw one all opened up for PDI. Amazing machine, but it is a toy for drivers only, because Alfa decided to not care about anything else at all.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Latest sightings: a commuter in a 2CV, and a 2005-ish Ford GT in gray with white stripes, parked by a club house of course. At least it's getting used - a neighbour has a red one mothballed in his garage, takes it out once per year.

I followed a red 4C for a bit through the streets of Trieste last summer. That car looks and sounds awesome.

An old ford focus with some kind of home built ~4" lift kit... From what I could see, it looked like a combination of blocks under the springs and those aftermarket coil spring spacers. There must've been at least some thought put into as the the rear camber looked relatively straight and not way out of whack like you might expect. But why go through the effort on a focus???? ??? ???

Vehicle Standards would probably like a look at that.

No doubt! It was also missing its muffler and sounded awful.

Funny that you mention a sketchy Focus. Saw a newer one today and the lady locked her up coming to a light, like a hard, smoky, long 4 wheel skid. Flat spotted what looked like fairly new winter tires. Thought pretty well every car in NA since the mid 2000s had ABS.
Lighten up Francis.....

There's an elderly guy around here that has one.  I've seen him driving it around a few times over the years. I bet that car doesn't get out much.

So i got rear ended this morning on the way to work.  Nobody hurt though, so that was good.  The vehicle ahead of me was stopped waiting to turn left, so i stopped behind them and then BANG!  :o  Was hit by a Mazda 2 and it's pretty well a write off as the air bags deployed and the front end was all mashed up and buckled.  My work truck has a dented in bumper and will need to be replaced, and that seems to be all.  Glad i was driving my truck!

A rear-ender is always my biggest fear of driving.  I have two fused vertebrae in my upper back and no movement there as a result, so a good rear-ender can really end it all for me.  Luckily i live to post again!  ;D

Nice part about driving a big solid vehicle like that, can take a hit and keep the occupants safe! Good to hear that you're okay.

Really glad it wasn't worse KD.

It's a fear of mine too, especially on a bike.

Former Lady O was rear ended in the CrossTrek twice now. Once a few years ago in town here, and one just a few weeks ago. Both times she was stopped at a traffic light, and someone just drove into her.

Glad you're ok KD

Same thing happened to my brother a long time ago when he was driving my car.  My car ended being a write off as the other car's front end went under my car and did a bunch of damage.

We got hit when I had my V70, a GMC 1500 pick-up punted us about 5' forward... kids were like, what was that Dad? And I felt the headrest whip forward & cradle my head to prevent whiplash. No airbags went off, but I was happy to have the Volvo at that time!! They repaired it for ~$6,500, damages didn't look that bad, but they had to pull the uni body straight afterwards. Sold the car 2yrs later for $8k, didn't lose much value on it  ;D

Glad no real harm done KD.
I'm always on lookout for inattentive numpty's, especially when driving MX-5.  A rear-ender in that would suck.
