Selling a car after insurance policy ends

sorry, not really a buying/selling question.

I am selling my car, unfortunately it looks like it will not be sold before my current policy ends. Is there any place I can purchase short term policy like one week or few days?

Speak with your insurance agent about extending your current agreement.  I'm sure there are provisions for this type of situation.
