Well, I have been looking at Tundras in the last few weeks. I'm kind of stuck on a 18-21 Platinum. Am going to look at a 18 Platinum today so we'll see how that goes. I was surprised to see how many Tundras end up as company trucks, thought that was a base model domestic truck thing.

I see a lot owned by small contractors, assumed they were ok with spending more initially and then hanging on to them for longer

Private contractors are all driving top-trim leathered up cowboy Cadillacs, with tax-deductible leases.

Painted bumper fleet trucks are only seen in public sector or big contractor fleets.

Well, last night was a failure, nice enough truck but you could tell this thing had a hard life on a pipeline somewhere, lots of squeaks, rattles, it rode like shocks were done and lots of mud in the undercarriage. Sigh, oh well, off to see another one tonight, 2020 Platinum, unless this truck tries to touch me inappropriately, she could be the one.

Good thing that pump prices are down recently. That 5.7 is great but she likes to drink. $200 fill ups here you come. Did we buy it?

Thanks guys, it took a bit as I was looking at a very thin wedge of available Tundras, and not wanting a white truck around Alberta makes you instantly lose 98.7% of the market.

It was traded in, I didn't want to be that guy so I gave it to a dealer, they can be the bad guy

I think this is a much better match for your likes and desires. Reliability, V8, great looking, etc. Let’s hope this doesn’t turn out to be a lemon also (not likely but then we all thought the same about the Ridgeline).
