Electric cars charging
« on: August 23, 2023, 04:35:27 am »

I have plenty of solar panels and wondered what other folks are doing to charge their electric cars from the panels? Is the charging mechanisms DC or AC? Anyone installed a chargeverter just for their electric car yet?

I think the smartest thing with solar power and what not is just selling it back to the "grid" and that will offset any energy use.  Thus you wouldn't have to do anything special with regards to figuring out how to directly use solar panels to charge a car.
