Has anyone received compensation from an airline as a result of a flight cancellation?

I spent $1200 on Delta to get home and I wouldn't mind seeing some of that back.

Went out to Nova Scotia (and a little of New Brunswick). Did the Cabot trail, Hopewell Rocks/Bay of Fundy, Magnetic Hill, Peggy's Cove, etc.

Then you are entitled to a full refund of your original ticket. That's the rub, you probably got a cheap deal as you booked far in advance and the rebooking was more expensive. You are SOL. Need to deregulate the skies and get West Jet and Air Canada off their respective perches.

Great pics. The landscape in Arizona is so different from southern Ontario, cactus, big rocks, red soil, desert.....

But is June really a holiday month for Arizona? I mean the heat. Many years ago I was involved in a fresh fruit import situation/business and had to travel to Nogales on the Arizona/Mexico border to sort out some issues. It was in the month of August and after landing in Phoenix, we drove to Nogales. It was hot, very very hot, like a hair dryer in your face all the time.....

This was my last summer visit to Arizona.  I'm now too old for the blast furnance.
