Volvo EX30: a performance CUV for the masses?

Starting at $34,490 USD, no rebates.

Even in its standard RWD trim it is more entertaining than the majority of 4-pot grocery getters on the road today.
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

Funny enough, I watched the exact same EX30 Carwow's youtube video earlier Today but not linked from Inside EV. I found Volvo EX30 being somewhat appealing to me (as the Polestar 2 does, what is wrong with me?  :P) , at least partially based on its price but not much on some interior details. Anyway, I'm holding tight to my Volt for now and foreseeable future  :shuffle:

Gone but not forgotten in chronological order: 2019 Volt, 2013 Volt, 2014 Spark EV, 2012 Volt and many others before...

There is some quirkiness about it. It feels like if they classified this as a 4-wheel appliance to get rid of the dealers, and offered a charger install for one all-inclusive price, and sold it with a family member discount at the nearest ikea store, and charged a monthly subscription fee that would include insurance and roadside assistance, they would have my business.  :P
