We have a large community of new Asian Canadians here and judging by their vehicles and houses have money. The Lexus RX & LX is a popular choice. I think they like Toyota and gravitate to the made in Japan models as they perceive them as better put together. They are not wrong.
Don't get me wrong - there are many people which could comfortably afford these, but I'm saying I can't see these becoming the vehicle of choice for doctors, lawyers, bankers, etc.
I personally like its truck-ish looks but on the other hand it doesn't really instill luxury by design. This is exactly what appeals to me, but I don't think it does for the vast majority of people who buy six figures vehicles.
I think a lot of these will find homes in Colorado, Utah, Montana and other places like that, where there is a combination of rough-ish terrain, mountains, snow and lots of money....
I vividly remember the concentration of LRs, RR, Defenders, Land Cruisers in Aspen/Vail area was staggering years ago.
