2024 Polestar 4
« on: April 18, 2023, 12:13:05 pm »
Here is the Polestar 4, an EV with no rear window.  Its not very attractive either.  544 horsepower, a range of over 482 KPH of unrealistic millage in the real world. It can got from zero-to-60-mph time about four seconds. The interior is either vegan or wool dash, yes wool, as in sheep. 7000 large if you want leather. infotainment screen is in the middle and it's big, look like updated Tesla inside. The lack of a rear window means that it is control by cameras and digital mirrors. The Polestar 4 will be available in 2024, which a starts at $53,000 CAD.

Looks just like a Tesla, inside.

The 4, doesn't have a back window. Lets hope in snowy weather that isn't short sighted.

1. I don't need 4-second acceleration 0-60.  Please give me more range, OR a lighter vehicle via a smaller battery.

2. Please stop designing everything to look stereotypically "EV", with no physical switchgear, massive screens, and fabrics that are going to stain just by looking at them.  Seriously....we will know it's an EV when we don't need to put gas in it, no need for everything to look and feel like a Tesla  ::)

I always wonder about the old dear, forgetting which pedal. Can you imagine the damage, these vehicles are a lot heaver.

That is a good point - better or worse with one pedal driving I wonder. But things would get messy fast with the power and weight these have.

If you want to see the  Polestar 4, skip to 11:59 in the video   I find having no back window off-putting. Nonetheless, it's a truly bonkers creation.

The Polestar 4 seems to be pushing the boundaries of EV design and technology, with some unique features like the absence of a rear window and eco-friendly interior options. It will be interesting to see how it performs in the real world and how it competes in the EV market when it becomes available in 2024. 🚗🔌🌿

Umm, I wonder if that is going to be an issue, with the snow here. You need a back window.
