Blue Jays 2023

OK, the first game in Toronto went well against a 2-7 team.  Sorry Ron.  :D

The offense and defense looks pretty good.  But the pitching is still a problem. Always a problem.

The Rays are coming Friday.  Despite a terrible stadium and poor attendance the Rays are always in there and it's because somehow the people that run that team know how to find pitchers.  The Jays not so much and it still shows.

Rays ...  11-0  :o

I was being a wise guy.  I think the Jays are the favourite MLB team right across Canada.  Except in my house.  :)

Atlantic Canada has a significant Red Sox following....I'd say maybe 25% of real ball fans.  Blue Jays the rest.  I love the Sox but my interest waned when Covid hit and baseball shut down, and they traded away Mookie Betts, which only a moron would do.

Jays are looking really, really, bad.

In other Jays news, long standing ground level primo season ticket holders have been advised that their seats, after this season, will be are terminated as a result of a $300 MIL reno.  What cost $15K for two tickets will be $137K post reno.
