I am curious on what Mr.Dent does with that roof...I've never dealt with one, but it's a very common issue on this malaise era stuff. It might not be *that* hard to pull the old off, scrape the roof clean, and then recover with a somewhat forgiving material (something that won't show every imperfection in the roof) like a marine vinyl with a thin foam back. Summer heat, good quality contact cement, and a few hands to help stretch/pull it might be OK to DIY.

I've always loved the factory true wire wheels for these cars, rare and probably pricey, but definitely the wheel to have on these

How many bodies can you fit in that trunk?

The trunk is long and wide but not terribly deep. So maybe four bodies plus some extra misc parts?

There is the missing hub cap. I think I am going need a replace plus a new spare tire! Also that tiny jack is not going to cut it for this car.

Roof is in very poor. Worst part of the car.

You need to move, or at least buy a vacation trailer/property in central Nevada.

That one is a lower trim than mine. I have the top of line d'Elegance package don't you know.  ;D

It is also a much better colour, in better shape exterior wise and 3x the cost.

Here is a similar one to Dent's for sale. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/truro/1988-cadillac-brougham/1653090349?undefined
No sunroof.

I should pick that up, clean it up, and throw it on BaT.  ;D

Fun photo. Cadillac vs Austin. They are sitting at the same point at the door end of the garage. The Austin is on jack stands which is why it is so tall.

These fender light indicator light up a mini light when you turn on headlights or signal lights. Interesting feature.

In the trunk you can lock the license plate in place so that it does not fold down. The gas filler is behind so it prevents gas theft or someone putting sugar in the tank.

Marking the corners not such a bad idea on something that big with no sensors or backup camera!

What's it like piloting around Lethbridge? Try any parallel parking?

I still need to get the insurance hooked up so no real driving yet beyond getting it home. I'll probably pass on parallel parking it. It might see the auto-x course ... once.  ;D

Heh, it's like when I took my old 215 Rossignol straight skis from the 80's down a slalom course a couple years ago

There's a technique, but it's waaay different than with modern stuff

There should be two more little fibre optic light sensors above the rear window for the tail lights.

I’ve had a few old Caddy’s this style that also had automatic high beams. Way ahead of their time!

I have the auto headlights, Sentinal, I believe its called.

There is the rear one as well. I just can't currently see them from the driver's seat due to the headliner drooping down a little.

Fixed the signal lights. There is one flasher for hazards and one for signals. The signals one is more annoying to find but not so bad.
