Yeah we will see how it goes. The Crosstrek is no slouch, just our timing changed. I am sure it would have been great also. More trouble free and new but that would have KTM putting another $20k on the table with some going to Justin and I really try to limit giving that clown $$.  ;D

:iagree: Even neglecting the $20K split, I'd personally rather drive the Volvo.

Nice choice - safe and happy motoring!

All this Volvo talk made me check my saved search on Autotrader and found this.....

https://www.autotrader.ca/a/volvo/xc60/calgary/alberta/5_57586978_ct2004428112450956/?showcpo=ShowCpo&ncse=no&ursrc=hl&orup=4_11_11&sprx=-1

Not sure how the car shows in person, but on the paper it's kind of ideal used buy. I have rarely seen such a comprehensive service history in a Carfax report for an 8 year old car. Not sure if there is any major difference/update between 2015 and 2016 (last year) but this unit would be right up on my alley had I been ready to pull the trigger and leaning towards XC60. At the moment I'm bouncing between '16 XC60 T6 or '17 X3 35i....However not ready for the buying thread... :)

That looks like a good candidate. Wrong stock photo of course. 2015/16 things got weird and from what I can tell most T6s were mostly loaded. Volvo was offering the T6 4 cylinder at the same time.. To be clear mine has more kms and the exterior is a bit blasted due to highway miles. Interior is flawless. This one may be in better shape. I had two sets of Volvo wheels (winters good, summers shot).

I paid $17300 all in (no tax private sale). So far I have put in:

New Summer tires (Pirelli AS3+).  $950
Costco Michelin wipers. $20

Vehicle needs some paint TLC and a couple minor dents (many minor front chips and a few with specs or rust). May do myself or get PDR/detailer to do.
Also needs a new fancy e windshield. $800?

So I will be close to $19000k all in..

Go drive it. It is no canyon carver but the engine is sublime.

Kind of hard since it's 2,700 km away :) Plus not ready to buy yet, but just saying I like that car.

Wouldn't be safe to assume that any winter driven Alberta car would have the paint shot and few windshields later?

This one's paint seemed to be worse but it spent 95% of it's time on the highway. The windshield has been patched many times but is original. It is very pitted though so new glass should be put in. I may just pull the front clip and get it sprayed if I am feeling rich.
