2024 Hyundai Kona
« on: January 20, 2023, 01:20:57 pm »
2024 Hyundai Kona, I think I prefer over the older design, which just look like a previous Tucson with extra lights. just for the sake of it.  It's still very ugly, Koreans love ugly car designs IMO. Lol.

It is interesting to look at and I don't find it too ugly. I rather like it. Hyundai has been killing it especially on the electric side. I dislike the extended ipad on the dashboard but seems like the whole world is going that way.

Front is ok in a futuristic kind of way (better get some serious 3M on that leading edge). The rear is way too busy.  Not a fan.

I don't care for the placement of air vents, they ought to be on top of everything else.

The car looks great overall, I suppose it has some '80s theme going, maybe the robocop?  ;D

The electric unit looks pretty good.  The gas unit terrible.

Looks nice, I like the front look with the singular line in front.  the interior also is nice but how many button did they put in there?  you almost have a full keyboard

I found the last one looked like two vehicles on top of one and another.

Seems Hyundai done the same from the back.

Give me all the buttons you can fit.  I don't want to have to swipe through half a dozen sub-menus just to turn up the heat or lower the fan speed.

It's like a PT Cruiser went on an erotic journey with it.

I'm getting a bit of Dodge Caliber:

Odd choice to totally change the styling, though the original Kona was great

Lol, Sounds like from experience. Lol. Hopefully this styling fad will just go away. We are only getting the Hybrid in NA as well.

I found odd, just seems like a Tuson bolted on top of another SUV. .

I agree. That’s one of my pet peeves with cars today. It’s unsafe to hold a cellphone in your hand but OK to stare at a screen while you scroll through menus? ???

It is really ugly reminds me of the horrible Sportage. According to the designer, It is the Knight in the chest set. Lol.

Here is the electric version.

It's possible that you're correct, as many individuals seem to be purchasing the Sportage with its similar design.
