^^^ And with the only reliable Ram engine offered, the 3.6L.

I've been phoning around.  it's hard to find a 3.6l that are not bare bones.  they usually have no options and the 9.21 rear diff.

If new, and if they haven't changed their website, try the build and price. It will show you inventory that relates to your build. If used, well yeah browse online inventories or phone around.

Yeah I've done that.  I noticed some dealers, the smaller ones, doesn't post all of their used vehicles on Autotrader or kijiji so you have to go take a look on their website.     I initially I was looking for $25K-30k$ ish but those are usually at the 100K mileage (2018 to 2019), out of warranty and showing their age, so now I was wondering around the $35k range with maybe 2 years left on powertrain and around the 50K or less mileage.  Some ford F150 are descend in price but Ecoboost is a no go and the 5.0L is getting rare.  Would prefer the Pentastar as they pretty much are the same in milieage as my old hybrid.  Both our vehicles (toyotas hybrid) are over 300ks mileage so it's time to stay away from the beaters.  The highlander  we will  drive until it makes the news lol.

Here's my criteria:
1500 classic Crew cab - Either Classic look or Express  in white, dark blue, charcoal or gray- black would be OK.
-3.6 Pentastar  - preferably with the 3.55 rear diff (3.21 would be ok but no real benefit)
-Winter package (heated seats, steering wheel and remote start)
-Tech  (8"screen)
-rear parking sensors (old hard to find)

I don't tow so this is a family hauler AKA " the mini van for men"

This one is at my Subaru dealer, bit of a drive for you: https://www.autotrader.ca/a/ram/1500%20classic/sainte-julie/quebec/5_61381062_20120326092223908/?showcpo=ShowCpo&ncse=no&ursrc=hl&orup=22_15_32&sprx=-1&modalXS=1

In Burnaby: https://www.autotrader.ca/a/ram/1500%20classic/cranbrook/british%20columbia/5_60619898_20230726132920818/?showcpo=ShowCpo&ncse=no&ursrc=boost_hl&orup=2_6_32&sprx=-1&modalXS=1

The first one is a small cab (not Crew) and the second one does not have the bigger screen.  Thank you though.

The search engine on Trader is not precise enough for the cab specs - I checked "4 doors", but even then some dealers include 2-doors  ::)

Are you looking at 2wd or 4wd? Helps narrowing down options!

It’s the V6 that’s hard to find. This one sold in September and the market is down considerably from then. I only searched Alberta so far. I’ll scan other provinces later and see what’s selling.

I know, and I notice some dealers does not take pics of the sides so you have to scroll through them to find out.

Jeeeeesssuuus.  9% interest rate,  my line of credit is at %7.7 (  which I never use)....  doesn't help that I'm an estimator and calculate everything.   sometime I which i could just be careless like the general public and just sign on the dotted lines.

Better scoop one up before all the new young roughnecks scoop them up after break up and road bans are lifted.

I built a fully loaded 2023 classic Ram on their website. $62K for a full jam, V8, crew cab 4x4 Warlock. I mean, thats a smoking deal for a brand new, V8 truck with 4x4, like $20k cheaper than their I guess regular Ram.
Lighten up Francis.....

That and the 'Classic' is still fairly advanced AFAIK, remember all the fuss about them when they came out. Big jump up from the old oxcart style design, which still worked well enough

New 4X4 V6 Crew cabs with the bigger screen, heated seats and steering for $49,000, quad cabs like that for $45,000

Can't really complain about the pricing new, and there must be some leverage with all that iron on the lots:

Well I put in an offer this morning,  let's see how it goes.   It's been so long since I bought a non beater car, I'm not sure what to do.   I said pending visual inspection and Lien check.

-The guy gave me the carfax yesterday,  should I pull my own for liens?
-3rd party inspection, I mean,  9,500km so still under warranty is it worth it?
-Dodge transferable warranty does it have a cost.  I assume it can be done only through Dodge Canada directly.

Nobody here life in Red Deer.

Is this a Dodge dealer? If so ask for the service records?

no, Red Deer motors

There's one service on the carfax if I decide to pull it but it's April 2022

I would worry about the lien side. Someone is owed money on that thing (or did and was cleared). Should be fine if under primary warranty

yeah that's the only thing.  I'll check for liens if the offer goes through.

If you're buying from a reputable dealer, I wouldn't sweat the lien thing - they should have cleared all that up when they acquired it. At 9,500kms I also wouldn't be concerned with an inspection or service records; give it a good look to check for accident damage, which is usually pretty obvious if it's had paint work or anything like that.
