Owners don't care. Ultimate show off statement. I don't care for the new design myself but it does have presence . It will be copied mercilessly by other manufacturers.

For the price, this has presence and enough cojones to move continents

Don't care for either. One is white trash and the other is Euro trash.

I'd rather look like an NFL player than a sheiks concubine  ;D

Hmmm, so if the Slade is white trash, and the Range Rover too understated, what is the G Wagon?  If it's my money, I too would go the Slade V.  That being said, I feel like you have to be dumb in the head to spend the better part of $200K on a SUV of any sort.  For under $100K I'd probably just go with the GMC Yukon in a nice trim or the Lexus GX (don't need the extra space regardless).

Or you just have too much money.  :P

G-wagen would probably be my pick amongst those three though I do think the new Range Rover looks great.

I like the Gwagen, the wife LOOOOOOVES it. I am not a fan of the Kardashian only trim line available here, I wish they had lower trim lines available. I'm with you, if I wanted a big, luxo SUV, I would much rather go with an LX570, not that new ecoboost one.

The bling versions of the G wagon  we get here are Russian mobster trash. $200k would would easily fund my 7.3L power stroke Excursion build.  ;D

The engine was my favourite thing about the new Rover... which kinda had me thinking "would I really spend up to this when I'd probably be just as happy with an X5 M50i?"

Nice vehicle but not sure what would irritate me more; the haptic control everything, or the pop out door handles.  Really don't like either of these trends.   :P

Seeing this comment again, I'd argue you'd have to be dumb in the head not to have bought multiple G-wagens in the last few years. Just keep one on order and sell your last one for more than you paid for it when the new one arrives. Probably need to have a good relationship with the dealer for that to work though.

Amen to that!

At least these ones are a proper handle to grab and yank on, the ones that have the little lever the pokes out are really annoying.  And anyone who's experienced an ice storm (ie. damn near anyone in Canada) should see what a silly trend this is!
