Yep, nice clean design.

Heated windshield is an amazing feature, and really pretty uncommon, I'd imagine due to the replacement costs. It's been around for some time too...My parents 95 STS has it, you push the button and the engine idle actually comes up to support the extra electrical draw, but it melts heavy ice off the windshield in a couple minutes. Not sure when GM ditched it, but my DTS does not have it.
JLR does it too, but typically they have those slightly visible heating element lines, which kinda sucks. My dad's 99 XK8 has them. My XKR does not have them, but I suspect that's because it's a Florida car....I'd rather not have those annoying lines on a summer toy anyway.

Showing my stupidity 2/3 of my fleet now has them... The LR4 lives in the garage so it rarely gets used.

For some reason it's an option on most Minis but not on BMWs. Loved that feature on my Clubman.

UK.   They must have lots of frost and freezing rain?

Well so far so good it hasn't broken down yet. One thing I did notice is it has a pin stripe. Can't recall the last time I saw a car with a pin stripe, it was huge in late 80s early 90s.

I guess you can easily remove it. It shows the age of the original owner!   ;D

I loved heated windshield on my past Volvo’s. Too bad they are not used anymore.

Pin stripe works well on a white vehicle. Breaks it up a bit.

For whatever reason, it was also popular on QC cars into the early 2000's.

Went to local Volvo dealer to buy a jug of coolant (Volvo went back to green colour even though it is a HOAT formula). Anyhow service offered to top all my fluids (brake, coolant, oil, PS, windshield) for free while I made myself a cappuccino.  ;D What is this Lexus?

Like my oil and coolant at max so I can determine if car is burning either.
