Awesome, congrats!! I test drove one of these with the blown 6 back in 2014 when I was looking at a V-70 replacement, they do haul the mail big time!!

Don’t know anything about these, but that looks really nice!

Gotta love anything with an I6.

Looks like all that hunting was worth it! And if that's the right ad, you are a hard bargainer!  :)

Should be no problem reselling that (or the Crosstrek for that matter) in a few months

Yeah that was the ad. With the mileage I think it was a fair price paid. It has some dings to get worked out (or not). What happens if and when the crosstrek arrives? Who knows but something will likely be on the block.

ps. It's nice to have headlight washers again. That and six streams of juice on the windshield cleans things up nicely.

Had no idea they came with an I6. Sweet ride. Congrats and happy motoring!  :D

Congrats to you and the kids on the NTU Volvo.  Sounds like a sweet engine.  May you long have zero troubles with it.

Funny you should say I do have some concerns. In the end my rationalization was this one was designed while Ford was the master and it was built in Belgium. Sweden.  The money I paid didn't land back with the communists,  that had already occurred in 2016 when it was new.  ;D

I do like the lack of touch screens. It really confirms that the new Ipad style is a huge misstep.

Just joins the fleet (all drivers can drive any car) so this partiallly explains why no underpowered cvt thing  ;D  That being said no one but me seems to want to drive the Ridgeline.

I am going to look at the LX. If it knocks my socks off then maybe..

You sure can. I don't like the idea of giving those Swedish socialists money either.  ;)

Can't, daughter took it early to uni. I will likely hardly see it now.  ;D Interior is/was mint. Not the two tone leather just a charcoal. Best feature is the electric heated windshield. Heavy frost this morning and everything just slides right off after a couple minutes.

Here are some stock interior photos. Same colour. Nice simple design pre - ipad dash. I really like the low cowl feel which feels similar to 80/90s Honda. Very good visibility.

Yep, nice clean design.

Heated windshield is an amazing feature, and really pretty uncommon, I'd imagine due to the replacement costs. It's been around for some time too...My parents 95 STS has it, you push the button and the engine idle actually comes up to support the extra electrical draw, but it melts heavy ice off the windshield in a couple minutes. Not sure when GM ditched it, but my DTS does not have it.
JLR does it too, but typically they have those slightly visible heating element lines, which kinda sucks. My dad's 99 XK8 has them. My XKR does not have them, but I suspect that's because it's a Florida car....I'd rather not have those annoying lines on a summer toy anyway.
