I LOL's when he said "Big family SUV"
Isn't the Qashqai like...wee like a Rav/CRV? Smaller? Silly Brits...
So cute...*
*yes, I know...they (still) drive on roads built by the Romans a dozen centuries ago...2 chariots wide...2 Qashqai's would be almost impassable. Impassible? Impossibly impassable? Impassably impassible...could go either way.
I do not think there were too many Romans in Britain.

But yes Britian and Europe function very differently when it comes to cars. Cost of fuel there is sky high. Roads and parking spots are tight. Having traveled and driven in Europe I can tell you their focus is not on driving behemoth SUV's with 380 horsepower and 400 pounds feet of torque. Thier focus is more or less on small hatchbacks. Unlike here, the cost of diesel is cheaper there. So diesel is quite popular.
I have rented cars from local garages in Italy. The cars I have rented are not speedsters. I suspect the first car (Fiat Panda) I rented did not even have 60 horsepower.
All that being said. In videos I have seen this SUV competes with Tuscon. I think it may be 178 inches long. Because of size I suspect it may not come here as it will compete with the Rogue.
