Sorry, Jeff old boy, I am going to have to vehemently disagree with you on this one. I have in fact had strong emotional responses to previous Priuses, and even physical ones, generally ending with wretching into my mouth a little bit.

I really like the changes here, and I will be taking a close look at the PHEV version when it comes out. Great review, Jeff, with the obvious exception of my first point.  ;D

Haha, good point... many people did have strong emotional responses... and so too will they to this new one, both positive and negative.  But, the mandate was to make a very basic, plain car, presumably one that wouldn't have garnered much response from anyone, positive or negative.
