Nice write-up Jeff - but you forgot to mention that it randomly refuses to open its door when some very nice people try to step inside to have a look.  ;)

I think it's quite a handsome car - more sporty Japanese GT than true sports car, but there's nothing necessarily wrong with that.  It's certainly pressed hard by competition at and above its price point.  I can't help but think that a bit more aggressive pricing by Nissan would have been advisable.
Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

A very tiny percentage of the population makes a living by being the fastest driver around a racetrack.

Even those that do don’t campaign cars they’ve bought off the showroom floor, and drive them home after every race. This is excellent news for driving enthusiasts who can see beyond published acceleration times or laps around the Nürburgring, because it leaves space for cars to simply be fun. It means there’s a place – and a purpose – for sports cars intended to engage drivers and add extra hits of dopamine to time spent behind the wheel.

  I'm glad somebody else gets this.

Funny how this popped up in my feed after reading this article. I know which one I would want.

I think I had the feature activated to keep out those 'dirty biker types'   ;D

You're right though, a sporty GT is apt, but classic 'sports cars' weren't always overly stiff, track-ready-weapons either, so it still fits the bill, too.
