Well if I could add some controversy, there was this article that the new Prius is as fast as the first gen FRS/BRZ/86.  The comments on Facebook were hilarious, a lot of people were very offended.

Why would anyone be surprised about that? A Sienna is probably faster than many sporty cars....

Yes -  gen2 (2006+)  with 268hp 3.5L V6 (Sport and Ltd trim)...

Sweet!  Man, the new Prius must be impressive if you are willing to make the switch.  Am I wrong to say that they have not announced fuel economy yet either?

Well I'm not sure if I'm willing to make the switch. But it seems like you have to get on a list even if your remotely interested.

Fuel economy I've read is supposed to be incrementally better (1-2mpg) but EV range 50 percent better.

I really like the looks.

It's quite extraordinary that MPG can go up when going from featherweight 15" aluminum wheels to 19".

That alone is mighty impressive.

It's my understanding that press testing takes place next week and embargo until mid December.

Then more concrete info at that time.

Not just the switch. This is an actual NEW car. He usually buys USED.

This is a first. I used to enjoy the write up's, Echo, was one I particular remember.

That could be the perfect car for my son but if he tries to put a deposit at any Quebec dealer he'll be number 1000 + on the waiting list.
