193 hp for the hybrid, 220 hp for the PHEV, new 2 litre four. Read elsewhere: Europe will only get the PHEV.

From the future, but the rear 3/4 view is still recognizable as a Prius.

I think it looks great.

That really is a great looking redesign.  Sleek, sporty, futuristic.  Love the added power, and if they improve an already decent handling platform, it shouldn't be too bad handler.  I would assume it's still a bit more fuel efficient compared to the previous model.  Better get your deposits in now.

So much want!

Going by the Euro numbers it sounds like it should be quite easy to get 50+ km on battery.

It's like someone took a Prius and a Tesla and mashed them together and then really refined the details. It looks surprisingly good.

Even the new "Prime" font is elevated, has an Alfa vibe to it.

Sums it up very well. I never could get past the old designs, but this looks great. All hail competition!

If you mean MSRP, I highly doubt it'll jump that much.  You'd be looking at $6K-$7K+ increase and I just don't see that happening.  I'd predict under 10% increase in price.

Looks surprisingly good!!

I can't recall a bigger aesthetic improvement in a new model of any car in recent history.  No longer the nerd-mobile poster child.

Well it's actually a new vehicle with an old nameplate.  The current Prius had been left to die on the vine.

I also won't be surprised at a 20% price increase as Toyota may scrap offering the base model.
