Can XM be retrofitted?

A guy at work just picked up his black Tremor a couple weeks ago. I also saw a white one with aftermarket wheels and tires, probably 35s as well. Looked sharp.

^^ I would think so. There is also those older units that can be played through the factory radio. I have one of those that came with my 2006 miata. Have no use for it now. It is basically E waste to me . Most people wouldn't want this unit stuck to their dash or windshield though.

Congrats, nice truck, and the upgrades are definitely going to look great.

K02's are super quiet, and look better than Duratracs IMO. The advantage of the Duractracs, last I checked at least, is that they are winter rated, whereas the K02s are not.

I am assuming rake is for fuel economy? If you dropped the rear it would take away capability? I suppose a drop kit for the rear with some sort of helper spring for loads (air would be good so adjustable) would be required to maintain capability. But that would take away the purpose of why most people buy 3/4 tons and 35s which is so they can climb into and then look down on people.  ;D  I like the 35s as long as long as the track is not increased and they stick out of the wheel wells. Then you have Chad and rooster tail city when it is wet. The book should be thrown at these idiots. If we could only go back to early 2000s where one could buy a reasonable height 3/4 ton truck (GMC FTW).

Can’t believe non-start stop button ugh!!

Just to be clear the vehicle is shipped like it was before the world turned upside down.  That being that the vehicle cannot turn it's self off when coming to a stop.  My Armada is like that.  Namely, no Obama riding along with you switching the engine off and eventually wrecking it not to mention driving one MAD.  :)

You nailed it.  ;D

Stock, the Tremor has a wider track than the regular F150.  Altered front suspension parts.  Hence a specific Rough Country lift kit just for the Tremors.

The kit raises the front 2.5 inches with coil overs and lowers the rear an inch.  All that levels the vehicle.  So by that calculation the Tremor has a 3.5 inch rake which is close to what it looks like stock.

How are they dropping the rear?

Kit comes with plates or "blocks" that replace the Ford units located over the axle.  I actually haven't seen anything yet.  So I think an inch difference.  Ideally one would do the front first and take a look.  But Ford is doing it, aligning it, all under warranty so I'll just go with.  I can always swap the blocks out later.  I'm sure Rough Country have figured it out correctly.

OK. The ones I have seen have the blocks welded to the axle. Could be some labour there.

Is this an Armada replacement?
