Definitely looks decent, not as pretty as the previous generation.  RWD, manual, 450+hp what not to love.  Not a big fan of the colour choices.  Would much rather the blue from the previous generation, the yellow on the M3/4, green, or even the purple they have for the regular 2 series.

I was hoping that the MSRP for Canada would be around the $75k mark but I think it might be closer to $78k.

Considering I’m not 100% in love with the looks, and I like the looks of the Caddy Blackwings, if I had a choice it would be rather hard to pass up the Caddy’s.  If only the CT4 Blackwing came in a coupe and had a NA LS V8 instead of the turbo V6.

I'd probably take the manual Supra over this.  Assuming I fit in one.

Me like...

Supra may be lighter, but you can actually use the M2 year round in relative comfort...
I love it when a plan comes together.

I'd pretty quickly decide that I'd be buying my first Chevy, were I shopping between these two.  Do not love the looks of the BMW.  Manual is a plus, but I have two manual transmission vehicles so it's not like I'm otherwise denied that experience.

Yeah I just saw that.  Now I'll be running the numbers to see if I can get one for $600 biweekly over 48 months with $30K down.  That's the top of the budget for my next vehicle.

A no options M2 would be pretty compelling. It really has everything one needs. Toronto Red for me on this one.

While I love the red, my GLI was red so I'd rather get a different colour.  So I guess I'd go with that pale blue colour, but maybe they'll have another choice in 2 years time.

Don't think that will be doable. It will be $92k with fees + tax. You want to spend a total of $92,400. Doubt they'll offer 0% on this.  :P

Yeah it's a tough sell for sure.  Maybe the market will turn around and I will have a bit more for a down payment, or maybe I just extend the payment period to 5 years.

Yeah, extending to five years could do it, depending on the interest rate.
