The headlights look slimmer which I like. The front end is a bit busy but not awful.

I think it's an improvement, but still not the best looking in the class.  But at least people shouldn't write it off due to the front end styling now.

I couldn't see them taking a chance, always been a good looking car, just fix the reliability, people who buys these don't care anyways.

Like the headlights, the rear end and the twin kidney part of the grill is OK ...................but, all that eggcrate below the license plate bracket is just plain FUGLY.

That lower grill certainly is ugly. A dark colour might mask it a bit. They'll will probably sell piles but not to me.

Kind of busy design to my taste, but at least not the horrible oversized grill.

Yup. That lower bit is a hot mess that totally wrecks things, aesthetically.  :hurl:

From these pics the car also looks weirdly proportioned and slightly lifted. Do not want.

Omg didn’t BMW just update the 3 a couple years ago or so again or did I completely lose touch with their update cycle?

I agree on the proportion thing. The height from the beltline to the roof is out of wack (too short) compared to the distance from the rocker panels to the belt line (too high). I think the problem is mostly the height from the ground to the bottom of the windows....even the hood looks too high.....makes the car look bulky.

Much better views of the changes.  It is the same car but with a slight change to the front and rear facias.  Bigger change to the dash with the dual screens.

The removal of the physical HVAC controls is disappointing, although expected.

The interior - dash, console is horrible. With this design, the 3er is dead for me.... :banghead:

Yup.  Before the this re-design, one of the car's strengths was that the infotainment and HVAC controls were relatively simple (for a premium car) and usability was great.  If you've driven a BMW before, you'd be right at home.  This is moving in the wrong direction.
