One year update - a couple months late - and.... all is as it was. Zero issue of any kind in year one for me, year 4 - 5 for the car (can't presently recall when the original on-the-road date was). Still looks like new and drives like new.
The car proved to be every bit the unstoppable tank in winter that my 2015 was - which is hardly surprising.
Today marked the second servicing from Genesis, and that has to be the BIGGEST change in the separation from the Hyundai brand.
Car was collected from my driveway. Service rep did a walk-around on it before even ringing the bell, so the handover took all of 1 minute and 15 seconds. Yes, I timed it - have to justify owning a chronograph whenever I can.

Loaner is brand new (500 km on it), hyper clean and has a full tank of gas. I don't care how nice the coffee and croissants are at other luxury car dealerships - I prefer this.

Black on black always screams airport limo to me, but then again if one of these pulled up for me at Pearson, I'd be thrilled.
