Sharp car, sharp write-up, sharp pics and sharp scenery!

Where were these taken?

Thanks man - much appreciated! All pics taken at Bronte Harbour, Oakville.

I never did get the story on this damned near new 2018 V8.  :o It was about 10K more than the cars I was looking at so I didn't end up making the trip to Woodbridge to check it out.

Nice car. It looks excellent stock.

I was looking at 2015 v8 but did not pull the trigger on it because my wife would be driving it most of the time. The v6 with the turbos is just as good as the v8 just does not have the sound of the V8. Simple tune make the thing a monster

Congrats

That is one awesome looking car!  The Genesis brand certainly delivers a lot of content and performance bang for the buck.  Personally I love the carbon fiber and the color combos in this vehicle.

I'd been looking for a set of snows for the new (er) Genesis and just lolled hard at the cost of staggered 19s to fit the factory rims.  Decided to drop down to a square setup on 18s and ran across a HECK of a deal from Genesis Niagara.  Since the car was also due for its first service since I bought it in the spring, I decided to take care of both in one shot.

So the Genesis "Customer Experience" (lol) rep came to my door at 9:30 this morning and whisked it away.  That didn't suck - took all of 3 minutes to look over the car and sign paperwork.  He also left behind a shiny new toy for me to play with for the day.  That definitely didn't suck.  The cost of the service was $0.00, which also didn't suck.  Car was returned with snows mounted, freshly washed at 3:30 pm.  I take back my lol - I can totally get used to the "experience".

Looking forward to seeing how this handles the snow, but I doubt it will be much of a surprise.  The 2015 is an unstoppable tank in the winter and expect this will be the same.

So he left you a G90?  That's a heck of an upgrade for the day...

What tires did you end up going with?

I had totally forgotten about the Genesis service experience. Is that still available on new models?

Cheers gents.  That's the new G80, actually.  It was so facking nice I spent the day wondering why anyone would spend more for a G90.  All I can say is I'd love to find out!

I went with the same Michelin XIce 3s I have on my 2015.  I was ready to try Blizzaks just for a change of pace, but the deal on these was too good to pass up.

Any guesses on price - 4 18" alloy wheels, 4 tires, 4 tire pressure sensors, tax-in?

Sweet! Nice choice on dropping down to 18's, always the way to go! I went from 20's to 17's on the Passport & 18' to 17's on the SLK. What tires did you get?

:EDIT: Just saw your reply about the X-ice.

I expect so - but I haven't shopped new.  If there is a way servicing your car could be ANY more convenient, it escapes my imagination.
