Just shows how safe cars really are  ;D

After watching dozens of Just Rolled In videos on YT, none of this shocks me at all.

I guess a totalled BMW (according to the article) may be preferable to getting killed while trying to change a tire on a highway.  :-\
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

I have never seen a run-flat like in the diagrams in that article.    Do those exist?

Also, should this person be driving?   They seem too stupid to be allowed.
Does insurance pay when you wreck your car on purpose?

So many questions

Judging by the condition of the vehicle/paint, it doesn't look like that person gave a crap about their ride anyway.

The diagram was provided by Bridgestone ( https://www.bridgestonetire.com/learn/tire-technology/run-flat-tires/ ) years ago. It's just one type of run-flat (there's another type, with reinforced sidewalls, which you can see at the link), and I don't know if it was the type used on the car in this story, but it's the one I had a high-res image of.

Sounds like a typical BMW owner to me. It is not obvious but you sounded to me like a usual BMW guy from the essays on sex trafficking that drives a crazy and helps criminals Browse this site.
Lol, I never thought about him from such a perspective.
But I kind of agree, the same thought crossed my mind too.

To what extent the driver learned the lesson, we may not know. But personally, I don’t like runflat, I removed them immediately after buying a car.
