2022 Imperium SEV
« on: December 30, 2021, 04:02:33 pm »
Almost 40,000 plus Tax, you can have the Skywell ET5, rebadged as Imperium, Coming to Canada in 2022. Two Battery choices. 410 for the cheaper spec, and 520 kilometers for top spec. 37 hours for a full home recharge, although you should never run them flat, and never top them up if the battery is 90%.

At least in case of BYD and some others you'd get an experienced automaker behind the product. This is a Chinese made car put together by someone who is trying to learn how to build cars as they go. These will have worse quality than a Hyundai Pony, IMO. It should cost half what they are asking for it. For 40 grand one can get a well optioned Toyota or a Korean hybrid, and not worry about a thing.  :)

SEV = shi**y electric vehicle  >:D

Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

How do you know? Does anyone know. I've never heard of them. DSG, are also bringing a over a truck over. It's a huge deal this NA launch will be, time will tell how good they really are.

If they are trying to sell a car here (have they done any crash test certification?) but can't even be bothered to make an English infotainment, that alone suggests the car will be under baked. There are established automakers in China, BYD and IIRC, Geely or something being another one, and they partner with GM and others on domestic production. Those I would pay attention to. These guys are looking for free paying test dummies.

LOl, Telsa, have been accused of that too, I can't disagree can't be any worst than Hyundai. Remember the Pony. I think a few people with be tempted by the millage of the battery Most of there production line does seems to be rebadging and retro fitting. The Chinese cars are coming. Great Wall has launch ORA Cat, just a matter of time until we will see it here I suspect.

Looks pretty aright, doesn't look to cheap and nasty.
