Looking at the picture again and it looks like there is no sunroof. Is that just a launch edition thing?

Delivery day yesterday! Bonus pic of Mrs. Hire saying bye bye six years ago to her XC70, and getting her '22 V90 Cross Country Inscription yesterday as well! We custom ordered my car in April and hers in August, and they somehow came to be delivered just five hours apart!

Very cool touch - the dealership GM handed me the front plate and bracket, and said "I couldn't bear to drill that gorgeous front bumper. I will if you ask me to..." I left it alone for now.

Quick take: This car is f***ing UNREAL. I love it - it's exactly what I would own if I needed a one-car garage at my current stage of life. Comfortable, FAST, looks and feels great. Of course, the interior is a bit dated but who cares when you have a 470+hp V8 under the hood and rear-drive? It's the last new car I'll ever own that's actually fairly analog. Getting the interior tour and figuring out the Google infotainment system in Mrs. Hire's V90 had us both appreciating how analog the Lexus is.

Two very nice vehicles but if I was to guess your wife his happier to get her Volvo wagon.  I don't find the interior dated, if anything I prefer it to modern touch/haptic controlled flat screen dash interiors.

It will be interesting to hear how much seat time this new IS500 gets.
