Some will dig it, some won't, and the usual haters gonna hate, but I think this is freaking gorgeous.

That jutting out bottom lip with the filter fish screen kills the car for me, reminds of Bubba from Forrest Gump, "better tuck in that lip before you get it caught on a trip wire!!"

It is a good looking car otherwise, don't know how many base model, front wheel drive mercedes driving, "#benzlife" types it can draw in with its badge. As long as they are still sharing a showroom with $12k Rios, this brand will never progress. There is a reason there are no Corollas and Tacomas at Lexus.
Lighten up Francis.....

Why is this in the SUV&Truck section?

I think it looks great, any idea if it'll get a worthwhile engine (V8 or more)?

My bad - hopefully it will get shifted to the proper spot.

Sums up my feeling on the Mercedes S Class quite exactly.

i like the roofline and side profile. Have to say the Genesis SUV really stands out in person, I'm sure this will too.

Thats pretty well what all big sedans are today, S/A8/7 series, the only one with a bit of panache is the Volvo V90.

Looks good but wonder how many they will sell?  I've yet to see a G90.  I suspect most buying in this class want an established nameplate for status.  I have seen one new S-Class and it looked like a blob compared to the last version.

Yup, the Volvo S90 is the looker in this category... just has the questionable power train, though they've used it for quite a few years now & there doesn't seem to be any major issues that I've heard of with it.

Certainly I can see the family resemblance - I'm not sure what I think of the C pillar yet.
Otherwise, if the price was right and the warranty excellent, they should pull some away from the Japanese and German marques and sell.

It is definitely interesting and unique. Nice.

It is too bad they did not continue the wrap around light theme at the back.

I wonder if the vaguely hatchback profile will hurt it.

Now that the G90 has been around for a full generation I was curious how it faired in terms of sales.

592 units sold in Canada between 2016 and 2021....I guess very exclusive car.

All these exterior pictures are good and all but these vehicles are more about how luxurious the interior is.  I haven't seen any interior shots yet so until then I will reserve judgement and I prefer the previous gen rims personally.

The new crop of models have all been home runs in the interior design department. Can't think they'd drop the ball on the flagship.
