Probably at that point it's likely a nicer interior (maybe leather), maybe bigger tires and rims, etc.  But as far as performance, they would likely be the same.

Did you see that this engine is now making it's way into the Yaris GR (actually always was there just not tuned up to 300hp).  Man that little hot hatch was already a rocket, can only imagine what it'll be like with the added power.

No LSD on the Core?  That kind of makes that trim a no go for me.  Just like the new Nissan Z base model.  This price compared to VW Golf R and Hyundai Elantra N is not really competitive, but maybe Honda's Type R will be similarly priced and then it'll be more justified. 

Looks like a good vehicle, decent styling inside and out, and the performance seems good.  But I'll hold judgement for when it's tested fully by the mag's to see how it does on the track, 0-60, etc.

my dealer said maybe 100-200 cars for the whole country and the specific dealer I pre ordered with, will be getting zero GR corollas until late 2023 at the earliest, and even though I was one of the first pre orders, I would be waiting until 2023/2024 for my car
