TheHire's 2009 LS 460 Daily Driver
« on: November 01, 2021, 11:00:31 am »
There once was a boy named TheHire
He thought his new-to-him car was fire
Here's a poem about as good as belly button lint
In honour of my dear friend Blueprint

The car I got is not old man gold
But bright silver makes me feel just as old

It has a naturally aspirated V8
Which I personally think is great

It should come as a surprise to no one
That this car fits in with my weird idea of commuting fun

A Mercedes wagon?

Didn’t you hear the man above? Yawn! Unfortunately I lack the taste and will to live in the Deep South, to own a Cadillac DTS. Who’d ever buy one of those, anyway?  ;D

The colour is called "Bright Silver Metallic"

The colour name points to Hyundai, Kia and Stellantis.

I have solved the riddle : Hire bought Bubba's Sonata !!

Odd.

I thought someone already has a nice luxury car for DD duties with a silky V8.

Except it was black. And a Lexus.

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Good point. IIRC a couple of weeks back I and The Hire were agreeing Genesis makes the best LS successor. So it must be a G80 or G90 with a 5.0 V8   8)

Or the older Genesis R-Spec.

The Sonata is available, but of course it lacks the V8. Genesis is a good bet, but maybe this too:

That one didn't ride so well. It changed with 2015 MY. It was still a Hyundai then.
