Confirmed: 6-speed manual will be available!

Renderings so far show what looks like a 4-door coupe.

It's already been stated that it'll be a "5-door", so it'll likely be based off the Civic Hatchback.  6 speed manual is great and all, but I'll do a hard pass if that 1.5T gets put in it.

99.9% sure they'll have that under the hood. Should Honda put a modded version of the atmo 2 litre in it, they'll be creating tons of community support for the car!

My bet is towards the 2.0T out of the high output Accord, detuned from what the Type R makes.

Having both the 1.5t and the 2.0t makes sense if they commit to a complete line-up - we'll see!

Lets hope it hits the gym and doesn't turn out to be a porker like the TLX type S.

Base will probally have the Civic SI motor and Type S will have the Type R motor.

It will most likely have SH-AWD. SH-AWD in a 300+ HP, 6MT compact car would be awesome....

I hope not.  It would be a 'Porker' as draghon mentions.

Acura kind of crapped the bed with the TLX Type S.  I suspect that the Type S will get the 2.0T but it will be the one in the TLX with around 270hp and optional auto.

The TLX was heavy because they wanted to give it RWD proportions, I don't think that will happen with the Integra since Civic based FWD is it's origin story. Also, the gain of a true torque vectoring AWD is more than worth the weight gain in an already compact car.

The Civic has been receiving very positive reviews and Honda/Acura chassis engineering has always been on point so imagine the performance variants. I'm excited for this Integra (and new CTR), something I haven't been able to say about attainable new cars in a long time.

I also seriously doubt the AWD + manual.  The last AWD + manual combo they had was the TL a decade ago.

It will either be AWD and automatic, or FWD and manual.

I don't think the TL was ever manual and AWD.

Edit: I thought wrong. Crazy to think how unlikely that is now.

And that version was a unicorn to be sure.  I had the pleasure of driving a 2010 version.  Not great to look at to be sure but the manual completely transformed that car especially because you could really push the SH-AWD to the limit.

Wasn't VMango's TL a Manual AWD version?  That was back when he was actually cool, instead of the lame, Automatic wagon driver that he is now...  :rofl2: :P

I don't think one could shift his current ride quick enough without banging the rev limiter in every gear...lol.
That was a reason I specifically got my Supra in automatic.

Once tuned, it was ridiculously fast hitting redline...no way you could keep up.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Big meh. 1.5l turbo starting at around 30k US.  It’s a fancy Civic Si I guess

So, it's basically a new CSX.

Seems like a waste of a good name plate.

They will likely boost it to 220-230 hp, and will have issues with it. I will not be surprised if they make Integra Type R with a 2.0 turbo down the road.
