Gurgie did the same thing for me for me Boxster!

Having bought a couple vehicles out west, it might be cheaper/same price to ship.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

If it comes to that, I just might!  Thanks.

Yeah sorry I am busy. I have some morons in the field that need babysitting.  Perhaps I should make a lowball offer on this thing. It will do one of two things...I will get car I can sell to you OR it will make your offer seem reasonable.  ;D
Haha! Here that grating sound?  That's my chain being pulled! :-)

That location is not far from me, if you still need someone to look at it.

Better than an even chance. The car is being looked over at the Calgary Audi dealership on 8 November. According to @aquadorhj’s report the winter tires are shot so likely I would order a fresh set and have them drop shipped there. My twin brother has already volunteered to drive it back with me.

Looks like the deal is a “go” barring any last minute complications. The 2 OBD2 codes were looked after by the Audi dealer by replacing the thermostat and housing. The rear shocks are leaking and pricey at $600 each, but at >10K below market price I can get ‘em done here. The 2 divots in the windshield have been filled too. Figure I will fly out on 27 November with my brother to pick it up.

Car will be on the truck tomorrow from Calgary, ETA Monday/Tuesday 6/7 December. Many thanks to @aquadorjh for test driving it for me and scanning codes, etc. I had a thorough inspection completed at the Audi dealership and the seller accepted my ridiculous offer. Needs 2 rear shocks (leaking) and a new windshield (divots) but otherwise is in awesome shape as it should be since it’s a 2015 and has only 49 K on it. A proper show ‘n shine post will follow.

That's great. Congrats!

Decided against the x-country road trip? Oh, well. Road trips are fun, but probably makes more sense just to ship it.

Sorry if I missed it, but what's up with the purchase? I thought you already owned one of these?

Sketchy time of year for road trips, much as it might've been fun.  You can never be sure what the weather gods will dish out on the Prairies especially!  I just sold my 2008, which was a very well sorted track car but the NA 3.2 VR6 engine was just not tuneable to any great extent.  The turbo 4 on the TTS is another story, and even with a Stage 1 tune from APR or Unitronic or similar, it's good for well over 300 HP w/o breaking a sweat (or the internals!).  More pow-uh!  Oh, and big brakes like my 3.2, but likely not a TTRS conversion and maybe something along the lines of Willwood calipers and Girodisc rotors.  We will see!

I really like the guys at Unitronic.

FWIW  Sarah-n-Tuned finally finished the rebuild of her TT and gave it away.
