To rrocket the Tire size is 195/65-15 , I’ve used ( all studded) General Altima ( very good), Pirelli (cannot remember the specific model - good but very noisy) , Goodyear (meh) and without studs - Blizzaks ( also good ).

Ask and ye shall receive! Plus a 7% off code (REBATE7)  Many of us (me several times) have bought tires from here.

rrocket - excellent - much appreciated. To the queries as to why 15s - this is minus sizing for the winter as my summers are 215/45-17 ( first season on Conti dws06 which are proving to be vast improvement over the Firestone  FR740s they replaced).

2012 civic, 15s and drum brakes in the rear.

I don't mind at all tires are inexpensive

My 1986 prelude had 13s though.

15" wheels fit on all Mazda 3s with 2.0L engines on them, disc brakes all around. 195/65R15 winter tire prices are way more pallatable than 205/55R16.

14" wheels fit on 2003-08 Corollas even, except for the limited XRS run. Not sure about 09+.

i'll have to look into possible downsizing for my winter wheel options...the higher sidewall helps provide a smooth no bump ride and with a smaller sized tire, i can likely get a good deal on some Hercules Tires...stock tires are 225/55/19 but i'm thinking about 225/65/17 for winter.

You can never go wrong with Hercules,  as long as you have the right tire pressure  ;D

Impossible to screw up the tire pressure.  It's right on the sidewall!
