RRocket's 2008 Porsche Boxster RS60
« on: August 19, 2021, 05:54:12 pm »
Everyone knows what I bought. And I want to detail the paint.

So for now I'll start off with photos of what makes the RS60 somewhat unique.

1) Only 1960 worldwide, about 800 to North America. So you get a nice dash plaque and unique stainless door sills

2) The paint. Porsche has charged up to $3k for GT Silver in the past. It was made for the Carerra GT to show off the curves. Not sure I believe that BS..But it's a beautiful silver (as far as silvers go).

3) 19" SportDesign wheels

4) SportDesign Lip

5) Dual round exhaust tips and higher tuning. It's the first Boxster beyond 300hp

6) Painted seat backs and console in GT Silver. Roll hoops also silver. Windshield surround black.

6) Silver seat belts

7) Silver gauges and no gauge hoods in a retro touch.

8) Red tail lights

There's a couple other little bits I'm sure I'm missing. But this should hold you guys for awhile (and allow comments about my terrible photography)

Looks great Ron.  I hope you enjoy every minute of it until you get something more exciting.  I didn't even know this model existed.  Do you think it might be a future classic worth keeping around to see if it appreciates?

Beautiful car.

Not a fan of silver in general but GT Silver over red looks amazing.

Maybe..but not in the near future.

But special Porsches like these depreciate more slowly..particular at the age this car is

Beautiful and congratulations. One day I will own a Porsche.  :)

I'm personally not a fan of Porsche's interior matching colour steering wheels + dash (I prefer contrast) but it wouldn't be a dealbreaker.  ;D

Keeping up your reputation as far as a great photographer goes I see  :rofl2:  How about a pic of the whole car?

Just bustin your balls, looks great man, very cool ride.
