Love the Dent-teen  :rofl2:

These came with TRX tires. I have them sitting in my garage taking up space. They have tread but oh so old. New tires are apparently available at silly prices. We are going test fit some Mustang rims on as the steelies on it have winter tires on.

These ones have a lower roof line than the Escort as well so all specific glass.

Lots of trunk space since it is a 2 seater.

I will need to check out those videos at lunch!

Mustang, T-bird, Tempo/Topaz, Contour, Hyundai Stellar, etc. Some older European stuff fits as well bolt pattern wise like some Austins.

I have some Mustang rims we are going to trial fit.

Tried both the Mustang rims that I have. Offset makes them stick out the fender. Something of the Tempo, Escort, Focus, Contour or even Saab 900 variety might be the way to go.

These are for the Ford EXP turbo. Some were crazy, crazy cheap so we bought more than required. Shipping was more than the parts costs.

A few examples:

Wheel cylinder = $1
Master cylinder = $5.34
Timing belt = $3.10

Tackling the brakes tonight. One caliper is not working (suspect the hose).

Awesome prices. I bet the warehouse they came from is happy to have the shelf space back! I've been lucky a couple of times with clear out prices on rockauto.

I have a set of Speedlines off a Audi Coupe Quattro that might fit, too bad you're too far.

Does the tire clear? If so, send it!

The front yes. The rear looks like it will rub. He like the look of some Mercury Topaz rims  :rofl2:

On the brighter side we replaced the brake hose on the driver's side and bleed it. The car now has double the braking power with both sides working. As I suspected the old hose had collapsed and no fluid made it through. So we should do the other side as well.

Replaced the valve cover gasket as there was a ton of oil seepage. After that was done discovered it was actually leaking from the cap. Ugh.

Because of COVID the boy never got to take his Fiero to a car show. So we thought let's take the EXP. So it got the best clean $2 and minutes can provide.

In its first car show. We arrived a little later so did not get a prime spot. Despite that it generated a lot of interest.

i remember these...nice find...and yes, they were very rare (i think i only ever saw a couple in person).

kind of reminds me of the Merkur XR4Ti that came out a few years later.
