Put on some winter tires. Decided to use something other than steelies this time
Yep, proper rims. As for winter here, it's moreso just ugly and miserable. Snow doesn't stick on the road for more than a few hours usually, just a lot of wet salty muck. We do get a few storms every year, usually Jan/Feb that can make the morning commute dicey...But I haven't bothered with winter tires in years. For the handful of days where it is bad, I get by without. When Mrs.Firm was working she was an 'essential service' so she had to be in the office regardless of weather, so we always had good winters on her car (the Firebird at the time) Now, meh..I prefer the time and storage savings that comes with running one set.

Just looking at the invoice, $247 / tire and $298 / wheel + $300 for stupid TPMS and another $70 for black lugs and tax of courseBut yes, it is a splurge. I remember paying $1800 for M5 Replika wheels and WS80s tax in for the 335.
