Great colour.  All Toyotas look good in it.

Looks sharp in that Red colour...and being a Toyota, should give you two decades of trouble free motoring...then, you can sell it for $30k and move on to your next one.  ;D

Nice purchase buddy, that thing is awesome!! If the wife would have gone for the Offroad or TRD Pro, we would have gone with a 4Runner as well, but I can't stand the front bumper, wheels and chrome trim of the Limited, yours looks great.

Those Limited wheels need to go. Fortunately Toyota didn't upgrade the the Limited brakes so all wheels fit.

I picked up my Trail pressie yesterday, quite a contrast in ride vs the Tacoma. Wobbles a lot, but driving it down a farm trail for a corn field photoshoot one can see these things are designed for out-of-pavement experience. Appears to have a drinking problem  :P Comfy cruiser around town, fun to ignore speed bumps.

The OffRoad I got has KDSS which is suppose to help with on road stability and off road articulation. Buy yes, definitely more wobbly in general than a unibody.
I love it when a plan comes together.

Yes, I splurged for new ones. All in OEM TRD wheels with new Bridgestone DM-V2 totalled $2770 (tax in).

Winter is coming...it snowed a bit and my wife said she was sliding all over the place on all seasons...popping it in 4 High helped immensely according to her (its her SUV). With winters she'll be unstoppable lol

Is it TRD, off-road or both?  :P

Great looking wheels. Japanese tires complete the package!

Thanks. Both actually. There is mine, TRD OffRoad, and there is the top dog TRD PRO, with the same wheels I just got lol

Those are nice rims. My brother got replicas with all-terrains for his Taco last year.

Yep, proper rims.

As for winter here, it's moreso just ugly and miserable. Snow doesn't stick on the road for more than a few hours usually, just a lot of wet salty muck. We do get a few storms every year, usually Jan/Feb that can make the morning commute dicey...But I haven't bothered with winter tires in years. For the handful of days where it is bad, I get by without. When Mrs.Firm was working she was an 'essential service' so she had to be in the office regardless of weather, so we always had good winters on her car (the Firebird at the time) Now, meh..I prefer the time and storage savings that comes with running one set.
