I will reserve my judgement until the no-camo version is shown but so far it seems resemble the T1 more than any other generation, a modernized copy of it if you will.

LOL, are you blind?!? It looks nothing like the T1.

Are you high on caffeine?  ;)

Of all model years it looks most similar to the T1. Not identical, but a modern interpretation of it.

I don't know why I like the idea but not enough (yet) to place a deposit on a small, square footprint EV van like the ID Buzz, even if it is not the most aerodynamically efficient vehicle, it is usually space efficient inside, best ones are to be capable to swallow a 4’ x 8’ flat on its floor.

The picture of the Buzz reminds me the Chevrolet Astro I drove at work into 92-94 period  :-\

Couple first drives, I'm not sure how many people have seen this. I think it is a winner. Looks great.  ;D

Reviving this topic, as I was just in Copenhagen with some Canadian media to experience the ID. Buzz for the first time. We drove the European 5-passenger SWB model. North America will get a longer-wheelbase version with a 3rd row option. While this version will not be revealed until next year, having seen it, I'll simply say... I think it looks even better thanks to (in my eyes) "better balanced" proportions between the length and height.

Beautiful city, as was Malmo just across the border in Sweden, which we also visited. In my whole career, I have never seen a car stop traffic and draw attention the way this one does.

While the two-tone, brightly-coloured "Buzzes" got the lion's share of the attention, I had a lot of heart for the all-black unit on 21s I affectionately nicknamed "Darth."

As a final note, also got a brief opportunity to sample some "forbidden fruit" in the form of the ID.3. We have no plans to offer this in North America, but it was nonetheless fun to zip around in bike-filled Copenhagen with it.

Shame they felt like they had to apply the same design language to the entire ID family. The minivan has turned out the best, IMHO.  :P
Cool pictures!

Depending on price point and timing I so want a ID buzz. Completely unnecessary but oh-so-cool. I wouldn't be able to resist if it came as a PHEV!

just saw this review:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51fyxgcVrKM&t=368s
 I
The ID Buzz seems to be awesome. More space than SUV with a retro kinda mood. I grew up looking at an old orange VW BUS in our neighbourhood. (parents could not afford it)
Wish it was available today I would buy this over a Cadillac Lyriq, Cybertruck, Model Y or Silverado EV anyday

I read a review yesterday and they had 0-60 in 10.8 seconds?

Is that a typo?

For the RWD, just over 200hp version it is to be expected. 4-motion trims will follow.

Kind of a shame that this is taking forever to get to North America, and that we won't get the short version. It's not something I'm likely to buy but it's certainly a neat thing to have on the market.

Let's just say a little bird told me the North American one might not be so slow. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Was talking to a friend who is really excited about this. Think it might do really well

Not a lot of companies out there with a 'cool' van heritage

I'm a big fan of vehicles that have more space than their footprint suggests.  I really like these, and glad someone is bringing something different and funky to the market.
