https://fordauthority.com/2021/06/here-are-all-the-2022-ford-maverick-specs-in-one-place/

https://atvsxs.honda.ca/atv/foreman/foreman-520

Look at a typical quad:  A Honda Foreman 520:  It's 82.9" long.  The Maverick's pickup bed length is 54.4".  Box height is 20.3", so a dropped tailgate adds that number to the overall length.  That's 64.7" of total length with the tailgate dropped.  A Honda Foreman doesn't fit.

Okay, you say, the entire length of the quad doesn't need to fit in the truck, you just need the wheels to be in there.  OKay, let's assume you put the nose of the quad right up against the cab of the Maverick.  A Foreman has a wheelbase of 50.0".  Subtract the wheelbase (50") from the overall length (82.9"), split the difference in half, and then add that number back onto the wheelbase.  You're left with a total distance from the front of the quad to the middle of the rear wheel of 66.45".  So the middle of the rear wheel will be 2" past the end of the tailgate.  It just doesn't fit.

Will 4 bicycles and enough bags for a family of 2 adults and 2 teens for a weeks cottage trip fit in? The price for this is just perfect. I may even cancel the Cybertruck reservation.

There's an "Area 51" color name  ;D XL as shown with mudflaps, spray-in bed protector, soft bed cover and sunroof 30k$ including pdi - not bad!

In a way, it reminds me the Nissan Cube fascia...

Weekend cottage trip? You could stuff the bikes in there with fronts hanging over tailgate but all your bags will be exposed to theft and weather. You could do some sort of roof box I suppose.

I have done many similar family trips and you are going to want to step up to the Ridgeline. Trunk (although earlier gen was bigger), big storage under rear seats and a genuine 6' adult can sit in the back (gen 1 again, gen 2 a little tighter) and a 5'4" box with 50+ inches of width.

Easily….! Open bed/extend, put the bikes in/tied them up and add your luggage bags in between….pretty much non issue.

I dunno, 4 bikes take up a lot of space, and this thing has a small bed.

It's easily rectified by using a hitch mounted bike carrier, though.

That’s not your typical ATV size! Lol….I am shocked the Foreman is that huge! 50in is the more standard size for an ATV….

As soon as you cross into Ridgeline territory, one is better off with a 1/2 ton - the Ridgeline is WAY overpriced for what it is…you can’t compare $47k —> $30k?!?!

Yeah I don't get the whole bike in bed thing when all trucks have hitches. Throw on a rack, way more safe and secure, plus you don't lose half the bed

You didn't read...or didn't comprehend.  The Foreman that you said is "HUGE" is the exact same size as the Polaris you posted...Polaris even has .5" longer wheelbase.

Both are 83" overall length.  Both are 50" wheelbase. And judging by the logic used by GreatBigAbyss...its possible neither will fit.

Don't even know why we're talking about fitting a quad in the back of one anyway.  Ford has the Ranger, into which a quad WILL fit.  Just get one of those if you insist on hauling a quad in the bed.  This is a nice little trucklet, but one has to understand it's limitations and not expect it to do something that a bigger truck is meant for.

Or do the smart thing and put a quad on a small trailer and still have your box for things

Wrong.  Ridgeline fits in a standard garage and outhandles eveything by a country mile. It lacks ground clearance and can't tow compared to a 1/2 ton so if you need that it won't work. The AWD with torque vectoring rear differential is vastly superior to a standard 4WD setup on winter roads etc. It has it's tradeoffs but If you wait until Honda puts  $5k on the hood then it ain't so bad. If you think it is the same as a 1/2 ton go hit some offramps at speed and get back to me.   ;).
