I want one...but no way in hell can I afford one...and if they mark them up X3? Fucketaboutit!  :P  I'd even take the LOL as if $40~k work truck one and just order carpet and swap the seats out for cloth...or if I could order 5 long range fleet trucks...I could sell 4 and buy a MACH 1 and have money to spare...ya think the bank will go for it?  ;D :rofl2:

I saw even the EV Hummers were selling for 3X their MSRP.  Sheesh...where are these people finding all this money to save on gas!?

Interesting article.

Lightning requires about 100k km use to break even with the emissions from the hybrid F150

I think they are missing the crappy roll out by Ford and all of the unscheduled trips to the service department.

Which seems to be inevitable.

The roll out was on time - nothing crappy about it, just lots of people thought that ordering 6 months in would net them a truck — reality check, it won’t…it’s sold out till 2025.

The golden rule is, never buy a car, in this case a truck, in it's first year of production. New or used.  :)

Well, it's a platinum, that's the top top trip. What's the MSRP on that?
I love it when a plan comes together.

Thats ridiculous. $100k for a truck thats not a dually, diesel one ton, what kind of brain damage does that take to ok in your head?? Even then, its a truck, thats well into 911 territory, for a half ton  ::) ::)
Lighten up Francis.....

$90k, but this one is already at $110k, I am thinking it will sell between $130k-$150k

For a Ford F150......what kind of mental gymnastics would you have to do to make that ok in your head.

The same one most EV owners do: "I'm saving so much on gas/maintenance"

At least a Tesla/Taican/ E-tron has that sub 3 second 0-100 party trick....this is just a truck with inconvenient fueling. I don't get it.

I mean, I get it. EV on a hideously inefficient truck probably makes the most sense.

But the cost of entry removes most of the financial advantage.
