Nice looking truck.  If you can flip it for a big amount, I’d say go for it.  Unless you are completely in love with it and need a pickup.

Expect this pick up isn't great at pick up things.  Not a great range, especially in cold temps.  Not enough ground clearance for a bit of off road play.  Less towing ability - the range is substantially lessened with load.

The OP loves the Frunk but hates the extra trunk in the bed of a Ridgeline.  I seem to think there was a lot of commentary as to how the Ridgeline isn't good at 'truck' things yet neither is this.

Nice, I'm almost jealous  8) Like the colour too**. What battery size / range came with your XLT?
Is this a 2nd flap door on front fender, passenger side or only a logo to be symmetrical with the driver side recharge port flap?
If so, what is behind, washer fluid fill up?

** it reminds me my former Volt #2

Only a symmetrical logo, no port hiding there! The washer fluid fill up is in the frunk.

I love the 8.9in of ground clearance & 10k lbs of towing - like a real truck should be capable of - granted towing at that rate would kill kms a bit - TFL showed us that…I will never use that kind of towing capability though.

That extra trunk is useless once you dump 4x8s and need to access it…

And let’s not compare 7in of ground clearance isn’t much for off roading, even the Maverick has 8.6in Lol

There are as many people "off roading" with a Ridgeline as there will be with the Lightning.

Which is to say "not many".

It's a very small demographic of people who require excessive amounts of ground clearance for day to day use.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

I didn't think it was possible, but the Lightning may be more useless as a truck than the Ridgeline.

Congrats on the ride - would love one of these as a daily for the wife (since she's a car hater) and for Costco runs.  Sucks about the 3 day charging though...funny how no one mentions that.  Thanks Sarah!

3 day charging? On 110V? Nobody with an EV with a huge battery does that..

Evidently some do  ;)

Goes to show how huge that battery is. Similar amount of energy to what it takes to boil a kettle ... for 72 hours non stop.
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

Well I guess one can fill the tank of an ICE F150 using a litre container and walking back and forth to the nearest gas station too. There’s always a hard way to do things.

Yup…if you buy an EV and can’t get lvl2, at least 32A….don’t bother.

Is this dealer trying to get more money or is Ford Canada not honouring CDN preorders?

Quote
According to the two contracts Elrick showed CTV News Toronto, he signed an agreement to buy a 2022 model for $95,899.

Now, he is being told if he wants to buy the truck, he will have to sign a new contract for a 2023 model for $111,757, which is $15,858 more.

Ford Canada not honouring CDN preorders. Same story for Mach-E's.
