What a nice little car. They've aged so well, a classic.

Here's my favorite pic of the car...

I absolutely adore the look of the Z3-generation roadsters.  Exactly 20 years ago, I test drove a '98 Z3 2.8 and very nearly bought it, but decided a roadster wasn't a sensible choice as my only car, so I went the 328i instead.  I've never really gotten over my love for the Z3.  The M Roadster, of course, just amplifies the Z3's looks, with more aggression.  And silver, IMO, is the best choice for the Z3s (short of maybe Atlanta Blue, which was never offered on the M Roadster).

Now, the waiting is the hardest part...

Hey Jeff, this car is fantastic, like I said I seen it in the flesh when we went out to Cape Breton for a golf trip & stopped in Quispamsis to golf with Shane & then met up with KD at Shane's beer bar afterwards & he was in the roadster. And KD has been a great caretaker of the car over the years he's had it.

Boss!
Hopefully more 'robust' than the P car was.

I hold no ill-will toward the Porsche.  Buying the cheapest Boxster around is bound to be a risky endeavour.  I got out from under it unscathed, so the experience -- although brief -- was positive, and I still very much hope for more P cars in my future.

Congrats on the new M car!  Glad to see it sticking around with another forum member.

Another good thing about this car is how easy it is to clean.  You can easily do a quick detail in 10 minutes.  The wheels are super easy to clean with the big fat spokes.  One advantage of being small.  Good size reference here.

I'm so glad this is public now. That's yet another successful purchase on this forum! I think I've done... 3? I bought my LS 430 from Ron, the S2000 came from the Snowman household, and I sold DriverJeff my beige LS 400.

Looking forward to seeing this car later this week... apparently I've been tasked with addressing fluids on it, and there's a wonderful set of rubber waiting in my office to go on it.  :)

Nice!  I can't believe how big that Mini looks beside it.  Like what!?  :o  How small is that thing!

UPDATE!!!!

So the tracker that KD kindly stuck in the car before leaving it with the shipper showed that it arrived at CN's rail yard in Concord (just north of Toronto) last WEDNESDAY!  I called on Thursday last week but was told it was showing that it was still on the train.  Fine...   Called again today and I'm told the same bloody thing.  The folks at Livingston claim there's nothing they can do -- which is probably the reality, if CN has 1,000 cars in that depot, I get that it takes time -- but dammit, I'm impatient!!

(so the update is, I have no friggin' update).   :-\
