The second VID which is much more detailed.  Hardly see any police motorcycle vids like this so I'm posting an update.

What a life for a younger guy.  Driving around on a bike on your own in the Bay Area.  Any guess as to the make and model of the bike?

Apparently, there was an AR15 strapped to the bike.

You bet it was. The perp went back to the officers bike and was looking to steal it I think. That was a mistake. The crap cops have to deal with..

That's some pretty good shooting, and/or maybe some luck involved.

Remember firing an AK at a range and thinking it was about as accurate as a garden hose, can't imagine a pistol on the run would be any easier

yea...firing all guns is much different in real life vs what you see in the movies...head shot snipes with a handgun from 100 feet away is almost impossible, let alone clearing a street of bad guys doing it.
When you've lost the argument, admit defeat and hit the smite button.

Or the armchair special forces snipers that always claim that cops should be shooting people in their gun hands or limbs.......

yea...there's a reason they train to shoot for center mass (main body area)...it's easier to hit.

and effective. A few well placed round to center of mass and that person is no longer in the game.
