Took delivery of my first VW last Wednesday. Had it tinted yesterday.
The DSG is fantastic, smooth and quick. The engine is a gem.
The interior is very nice.

Could have been Helga. Never named my cars. The name isn't gonna stick. I just did it for fun.
The dealer filled it up with 87 gas. Last night filled it with 91, and the engine is running noticeably smoother.

I walked aroung my neighourhood and saw a sea of grey, black and white. I am not fussy about th colour but red definitely stands out and not necessarily in a bad way. Back in 1996 I flew to Cologne Germany and picked up a 1990 Audi 80 in a very similar red colour which I drove home 3,100km. I loved that car with all its 90BHP. The Jetta reminds me of that car.

I just like the red/black colour combinatioin. With the tint all around it's even better.

Congrats. Looks so good in red. I've been tempted to get one myself. Such a good value.

I was actually being very sarcastic as my S2000 and MR2 are both red, and as some members here know, I have a long history of red cars.  It's a wicked colour man, and EXACTLY the one I would get myself.   ;)

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Congrats   Great colour combo. The red looks incredible.

The DSG is fantastic, smooth and quick.

I still love banging off shifts with my DSG. Can only imagine how much nicer the new one is.

And I totally fell for it  ;D
My wife and my 2 daughters still bug me about the colour, I guess that got me a bit on the defensive because of it. I am glad I didn't listen to them, though. My car, and I love it just like that.
My wife can enjoy the Blueprint Highlander when it arrives.

Make sure you park your Highlander in the garage, and store the keys in a Faraday pouch!
