I wouldn't want one for track use, but rather as an all weather capable, fun DD.
Yeah, AWD is not my first choice for track use either. But it really sounds like driving dynamics of the new R are much improved over the old one.

I’d have chosen the GTI over the R every time up until now, but the MK8 has me thinking maybe the R is now worth the extra dough.
