Cuteness overload  :D

A well done review from down under. Technical stuff begins at 11 min mark.

Hatchback with FWD, a lift kit and cladding, then lowered again. Not an SUV or CUV at all.

Bet it will be a perfectly good appliance.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

If Toyota bring it here, on their website it will be listed as an SUV  ;)

Which we know will be only true in marketing speak, but it will sell well just because.

Or most SUV/CUV shoppers aren't as pedantic as you when it comes to their definitions... :)

It's cute but I haven't heard any news about it coming to NA.  I think the Corolla Cross will be their small SUV.  Personally I'd much rather this Yaris Cross than the CH-R.

;D  But really, it's not a sedan, not a hatch and not a wagon. It doesn't look like a car to me either. SUV/CUV/Crossover is what it is IMO, and the definition lines are getting blurred, like an SUV used to mean a truck based BOF vehicle, and it hasn't been strictly that since the beginning of the century.

Everything I've read says it's not coming to NA.

i think that's a mistake...it's a small, affordable, fuel efficient crossover...that's what many people are wanting on the lower end of the price bracket.

Totally agree, but for whatever reason Toyota is going with the Corolla Cross instead.

They need extra interior room for the US "base" and honestly the Rolla Cross is a better looking one of the two. Still slow if it comes with the Corolla Hybrid powertrain or can we hope for the 2.0L hybrid used in the UXh?

64 mpg uk is 53 mpg us, if I'm not mistaken. The car is painfully slow however, so it would work just great for a fair half of GTA drivers  :P
