Did my first little upgrade to Bagheera. Intake tubes. Now can hear the supercharger a lot better.

Next: perhaps pulley and tune.

Sc whine is a little louder, and it feels like the throttle response is perhaps a tad better. The first part is why I got it, I know intakes make little to no power gains to an already good stock setup.

No front plate, nope. The bracket is, uh, on backorder. Dont know when we will have more stock.

645hp. 600lb-ft torque. New spark plugs. Painless, but time consuming operation.

All those other activities I've done are outdoors & I don't come into close contact with anyone. I don't carpool with anyone but family for those activities either.

I've got no issue with Chaos, but I think we'd both err on the side of caution for now until things really slow down, or we're both vaccinated. But who knows, it might be sooner than that :rofl:

Is this a common upgrade with this car/engine?  I tend to trust supercharger upgrades/tunes more than turbos.  If it was me I would have done it without my wife knowing and then see if she notices the next time she drives it.

It is a fairly common mod, not as much on the XJs but the XFR and F-Type guys do it a lot. Crank pulley (front portion, the harmonic balancer is left on the car thus the crank bolt does not need to come out!) and an accompanying tune is almost all you can do to the AJ133 SC V8. You can do a SC pulley, but it only gives about 15 extra hp, 30lbs ft and takes like 4+ hours to change because the entire snout of the supercharger needs to come off (liquid intercooled). I may look into that IF my SC starts to begin its rattle of the coupler wearing out...then while I am in there...might as well.
